Donald Johnson, Aerographer's Mate

A slide show from 1944 with views from 90 Millimeter Hill weather station. The show presently has 10 views, each is sized to fit 800 x 600 display. The archival scans are quite a bit larger, and if you have a fast connection or just want the whole enchilada no matter how long it takes, click on indexbig.htm. The hill was named for a 90 millimeter gun on it. Later, when the gun was no longer there, it became known as Norpac hill and had a storage tank. It is located north from Monument hill, at the midpoint of the western shore of Kuluk bay. To advance through these slides, just click on the photograph or use the navigation buttons at the bottom.
